Have you tried this? Catching a fish. Gone were the days of the longkang fishing. However, thanks to the growth of agro-educational, places like Qian Hu located at an off track location near Choa Chu Kang, the old kampung feeling has been preserved.
How to catch those pretty longkang fishes? Don't worry about having to drag a net. Qian Hu provides those nets at its location for free. A half an hour fishing will cost around $5 and you can bring home those fishes caught. A plastic tank will also be given as a souvenir.
For mummies and daddies, what about some therapeutic fish spa experience to add to day. To feed hunger and thirst, there is also a cafeteria and before ending the fishy experience, do remember to walk through the many arrays of pretty tropical fishes. You might want to add more to your at hand collection.
The best tip for catching those fishes? It's by hand. Place hands at the bottom of the pond. Wait for a few minutes for the fishes to nibble part of your fingers. As the fish lingers into the trap, gently close your hands tight, swoosh them up and into the tank they go.
